Job Announcement

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures of the University of Florida is seeking a specialist in 20th-century Spanish-American literature and culture at the level of either Assistant Professor (tenure-accruing) or Associate Professor (tenure-eligible).  We are looking for a specialist in any area in this field, except for those whose interests address primarily Caribbean or Southern Cone literature.  Qualifications: Ph.D., record of excellence in teaching and research, superior-level command of Spanish and English, commitment to program-building and professional service.
